Medical and CBRND
DDG supports the advanced development of medical countermeasures, including diagnostics, prophylaxis, biologics, and therapeutics. We consult with scientific and technical experts on research and development matters regarding drugs, biologics, and device systems and provide expert clinical advice and analysis with the goal of developing FDA-approved medical countermeasures for the warfighter. We provide scientific/technology advice, technical oversight, and project management support in the areas of science and technology availability, technology maturity, and applicability of proposed candidate Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (CBRN) medical countermeasures through advanced development, DoD and civilian agency acquisition processes, production, and fielding.
